Lost Girl

Today was technically the second day of Orientation although yesterday was a lot of paperwork and no interaction with people so I don’t think it counts. After orientation finished, Julia, a girl from Finland and I decided to go into town, turn off our GPS and got lost in the city. We walked for hours looking at all the beautiful old buildings and doing some serious people watching. It is crazy how many people are walking through the city in the middle of a Thursday afternoon.

Later we meet up with our new Swedish friends and together we headed off to the first exchange student get together of the semester. It’s not until you try cram all of us into a small bar that you realise how many of us there are, about 100 I believe. We all had some good laughs and it was good to meet more people in a more relaxed environment. I think it is safe to say that with these people around it is going to be a fun year.
